Biological Activity
Trilysine TFA (2 mM; 4.5 h (strains K-12, AJ005), 19 h (strains CM17, CM89)) is a substrate for the tripeptide-specific aminopeptidase TP present in Escherichia coli K-12 strains K-12, CM17, CM89, and AJ005, with hydrolysis detected at 2 mM trilysine following 4.5 h (strains K-12, AJ005) or 19 h (strains CM17, CM89) incubation times[1].
