Verdamicin
Verdamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic isolated from Micromonospora grisea, exhibiting broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. Verdamicin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit. Verdamicin exerts bactericidal effects against Gram-negative and Gram-positive isolates. Verdamicin can be used for research on bacterial infections.
