Biological Activity
Aldicarb sulfone (19.2 ppm; drinking water) in combination with Aldicarb sulfoxide (HY-124104) decreases plasma pseudocholinesterase levels to 23%-32% of normal and red blood cell cholinesterase to 37%-43% of normal in rats[2].

Animal Model:Tylenchulus semipenetrans (citrus nematode; eggs, larvae, and adult males/females isolated from citrus roots)[1]

Administration:Eggs or larvae were incubated in chemical solutions for 18 days (egg hatch assay) or 48 hours (motility assay), with daily solution replacement for egg experiments

Result:Significantly inhibited egg hatch by 15-17% compared to control, with delayed embryonic development and reduced larval movement within eggs at 50 and 100 μg/mL.
Reduced nematode motility by 33-45% at 50 and 100 μg/mL, while 1 and 10 μg/mL showed no significant effect.
Retarded male larval development to adulthood at 10 μg/mL (adult percentage reduced from 39% to 17%) and almost completely inhibited at 50-100 μg/mL, with morphological abnormalities (e.g., body wrinkling, swelling).

Add each solvent one by one: 10% DMSO 40% PEG300 5% Tween-80 45% Saline

This protocol yields a clear solution of ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (saturation unknown).
Taking 1 mL working solution as an example, add 100 μL DMSO stock solution (25.0 mg/mL) to 400 μL PEG300, and mix evenly; then add 50 μL Tween-80 and mix evenly; then add 450 μL Saline to adjust the volume to 1 mL.
Preparation of Saline: Dissolve 0.9 g sodium chloride in ddH₂O and dilute to 100 mL to obtain a clear Saline solution.
Add each solvent one by one: 10% DMSO 90% (20% SBE-β-CD in Saline)
Solubility: ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (11.25 mM); Clear solution
This protocol yields a clear solution of ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (saturation unknown).
Taking 1 mL working solution as an example, add 100 μL DMSO stock solution (25.0 mg/mL) to 900 μL 20% SBE-β-CD in Saline, and mix evenly.
Preparation of 20% SBE-β-CD in Saline (4°C, storage for one week): 2 g SBE-β-CD powder is dissolved in 10 mL Saline, completely dissolve until clear.
