TLN-58 is an antimicrobial peptide. TLN-58 has antibacterial activity against S. aureus, S. epidermidis, and group A Streptococcus. TLN-58 also induces inflammatory cytokine mRNAs upregulation in normal human keratinocytes and NCL-SG3 cells.

ω-azido-C6 Ceramide reduces the membrane potential, and exhibits antibacterial activity against Neisseria, with MIC of 2 µg/ml for N. meningitidis MC58 and N. gonorrhoeae FA1090.

β-Carboline 1-carboxylic acid is a β-carboline alkaloid with anti-inflammatory, antifibrotic, antitumor and antibacterial activities. β-Carboline 1-carboxylic acid is the cAMP phosphodiesterase (IC₅₀: 96 µM) and indoleamine 2, 3-dioxygenase (IDO) inhibitor. β-Carboline 1-carboxylic acid is cytotoxic to tumor cells. β-Carboline 1-carboxylic acid inhibits inflammation through the NF-κb/p65 pathway and can reverse epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Coumoxystrobin exhibits inhibitory activity against mycelial growth of Magnaporthe oryzae, increases cell membrane permeability, and reduces respiration. Coumoxystrobin shows protective activity against Magnaporthe oryzae in detached barley leaves. Coumoxystrobin reduces ATP activity of Chlorella vulgaris, thereby causing algal death. Coumoxystrobin can be used in studies related to rice blast disease.
