Tyrosinase Activator

Tribuloside is a flavonoid and PDE4 inhibitor (IC₅₀: 6 μM). Tribuloside exhibits antibacterial and antioxidant activities, capable of scavenging DPPH free radicals. Tribuloside also promotes melanogenesis. Tribuloside can be used in the research of hypopigmentary diseases, sun protection, and inflammatory diseases such as acute lung injury.

CMX-2043 is a novel analogue of α-Lipoic Acid (HY-N0492). CMX-2043 is effective in antioxidant effect, activation of insulin receptor kinase, soluble tyrosine kinase, and Akt phosphorylation. CMX-2043 shows protection against ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) in rat model.

1-Acetyl-β-carboline is a metabolite of Streptomyces kasugaensis and antibacterial agent. 1-Acetyl-β-carboline increases tyrosinase activity, reduces ERK phosphorylation. 1-Acetyl-β-carboline exhibits antibacterial activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains with MICs ranging from 128 to 256 ug/mL. 1-Acetyl-β-carboline increases the melanin.

LYP-IN-5 is a lymphoid tyrosine phosphatase (LYP) inhibitor with an IC₅₀ value of 20.6 μM. LYP-IN-5 enhances the phosphorylation of ZAP70 and ERK1/2 following TCR stimulation, and promotes T cell activation. LYP-IN-5 can be used in the research of autoimmune diseases.

PPL agonist-1 is a highly selective Periplakin (PPL) agonist that increases cAMP levels by regulating PPL, thereby enhancing MITF expression and promoting melanin synthesis. Tyrosinase activator-1 significant antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria, such as MRSA, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC653 and Enterococcus faecium with MICs of 12.5-20  μM. Tyrosinase activator-1 activates tyrosinase by competitively occupying the binding site of L-DOPA on the surface of tyrosinase without interfering with the substrate binding at the active center. Tyrosinase activator-1 can be used for bacterial infections and antibiotics development research.

5-epi-Arvestonate A is a sesquiterpenoid isolated from the whole plants of Seriphidium transiliense. 5-epi-Arvestonate A promotes melanogenic production by activating the transcription of microphthalmia-associated transcription factor (MITF) and tyrosinase family genes. 5-epi-Arvestonate A inhibits the expression of IFN-γ-chemokine through the JAK/STAT signaling pathway in immortalized human keratinocyte (HaCaT) cells.
