AChE-IN-116
AChE-IN-116 is a selective acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor with an electric eel AChE IC50 of 1.60 μM and Ki of 1.72 μM. AChE-IN-116 exhibits weak ability to scavenge DPPH radical. AChE-IN-116 can be used for the research of Alzheimer's disease.

AChE-IN-116 (Compound 9 s) potently and selectively inhibits electric eel AChE with an IC50 of 1.60 μM, showing 29.85-fold greater selectivity for AChE over equine serum BuChE[1].
AChE-IN-116 (0.80-3.20 μM) acts as a mixed-type inhibitor of electric eel AChE with an inhibition constant (Ki) of 1.72 μM[1].
AChE-IN-116 binds simultaneously to the catalytic active site (CAS) and peripheral anionic site (PAS) of human AChE, but only binds to the CAS of human BuChE, consistent with its selective AChE inhibition[1].
AChE-IN-116 exhibits an IC50 of 419.24 μM against DPPH radical[1].
