Adenosine tetraphosphate
Adenosine tetraphosphate is an Adenine (HY-B0152) derivative. Adenosine tetraphosphate can be derived from horse muscle. Adenosine tetraphosphate inhibits the rate of ADP formation from A5P plus ATP by 3- to 4-fold. Adenosine tetraphosphate cannot replace ATP as a phosphate donor. Adenosine tetraphosphate does not support pyrophosphate exchange with ATP.
