Alentemol hydrobromide
Alentemol (hydrobromide) is a dopamine antagonist and dihydrophenalene analog with dimethylamino substitution and an orthophenolic hydroxy group relative to the amino nitrogen. Alentemol (hydrobromide) does not impair escape response at a dose that completely suppresses conditioned avoidance in rats.

Biological Activity
Alentemol hydrobromide (0.55 mg/kg; intramuscular injection; single dose) blocks apomorphine (HY-12723)-induced vomiting responses in dogs, with an intramuscular ED50 of 0.55 mg/kg[1].
Alentemol hydrobromide (10-30 mg/kg; i.p.; single administration) dose-dependently antagonizes apomorphine-induced stereotyped behaviors in rats[1].
Alentemol hydrobromide (0.03-0.3 mg/kg; intramuscular injection; single administration) blocks the discriminative stimulus effect of Apomorphine in rhesus monkeys, and the Apomorphine-specific lever responses decrease in a dose-dependent manner[1].
