Description

Anticancer agent 329 is a mitochondria-targeted Podophyllotoxin (HY-15552) derivative conjugated with F16 (HY-100395), and also acts as an anticancer agent. Anticancer agent 329 accumulates in mitochondria and induces Apoptosis in a concentration-dependent manner. Anticancer agent 329 can be used in the research of liver cancer, colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and breast cancer[1].

In Vitro

Anticancer agent 329 (Compound 6d) potently inhibits the proliferation of HepG2, HCT116, A549, and MDA-MB-231 cells with IC50 values of 0.66 μM, 1.10 μM, 2.00 μM, and 3.31 μM respectively, and exhibits a selectivity index of 2.29 for HepG2 cells over normal QSG-7701 hepatocytes[1].
Anticancer agent 329 (1.2-4.8 μM; 24 h) induces apoptosis in HepG2 cells in a concentration-dependent manner, with total apoptosis rates reaching 17.79% at a 4.8 μM 24-hour treatment[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
