Antitubercular agent-61 has a CC₅₀ of 10.5 μg/mL in Vero cells, with a selectivity index of 42 against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv^[1].
Antitubercular agent-61 exerts a bactericidal effect on Mycobacterium tuberculosis, resulting in a time-dependent decrease in viable bacterial counts^[1].
