Monascorubrin (0.2-1 mg/mL; 24 h) inhibits the growth of Candida pseudotropicalis and Bacillus subtilis[1].
Monascorubrin (10-5000 ng/well; 96-well plate; 6 h) shows weak inhibitory effect on the proliferation of Concanavalin A (HY-P2149)-stimulated mouse T-splenocytes, but significantly increases the intracellular calcium concentration in T-splenocytes[1].

Animal Model:Female ICR mice treated TPA (HY-18739) and DMBA (HY-W011845)[2]
-
Dosage:2 μmol
-
Administration:Topical application; twice a week; 18 weeks
-
Result:Significantly suppressed TPA-induced tumor promotion, with the first tumor appearing at week 8 (vs. week 6 in control), 7% tumor-bearing mice at week 18 (vs. 100% in control), and an average of 0.1 tumors per mouse at week 18 (vs. 10.6 in control), representing a 99% reduction.
