TUG-1609 acts as an antagonist of human FFA2 in Flp-In™ T-REx™ 293 cells expressing hFFA2-eYFP, inhibiting propionate-mediated IP1 accumulation with a pIC₅₀ of 6.57^[1].
TUG-1609 (2 h) binds to human FFA2 in membrane preparations from Flp-In™ T-REx™ 293 cells expressing hFFA2-eYFP, displacing [³H]-1 with a pK_i of 7.31^[1].
TUG-1609 (0-500 nM; 2 h) binds to NLuc-tagged human FFA2 in membrane preparations from Flp-In™ T-REx™ 293 cells with a K_d of 65.1 nM, a koff of 0.0249 min^-1, and a kon of 368,000 M^-1min^-1^[1].
