BuChE-IN-24
BuChE-IN-24 is a selective, covalent BuChE inhibitor with a Kc of 1.338 µM. BuChE-IN-24 is also a prodrug of the 5-HT4 receptor partial agonist 5-HT4R agonist-4 (HY-190485). BuChE-IN-24 partially reverses Scopolamine (HY-N0296)-induced working memory deficits in mice without altering locomotor activity or anxiety-like behavior. BuChE-IN-24 can be used for research on Alzheimer's disease.

Parmacokinetics
In Vivo
BuChE-IN-24 (0.3 mg/kg; intranasal administration) increases cAMP in the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex of mice, which is consistent with central release of 5-HT4 receptor agonists[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Animal Model:C57BL/6J (male and female; data pooled because no sex differences were observed)[1]
-
Dosage:0.3 mg/kg
-
Administration:intranasal; liposome-in-thermosensitive mucoadhesive gel formulation
-
Result:Scopolamine decreased the percentage of spontaneous alternation relative to control.
Partially reversed the scopolamine-induced working-memory deficit; all groups showed spontaneous alternation above the 50% chance level.
