FPPS-IN-3

FPPS-IN-3 is an FPPS inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 7.75 µM (Leishmania major) and exhibits antimalarial activity. FPPS-IN-3 also inhibits PFK activity. FPPS-IN-3 inhibits the growth of Entamoeba histolytica and Plasmodium falciparum. FPPS-IN-3 is cytotoxic to nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells. FPPS-IN-3 can be used for research on amoebiasis and malaria.

FPPS-IN-3 (48 h) inhibits the intraerythrocytic growth of P. falciparum 3D7 with an IC₅₀ of 1.07 µM^[1].
FPPS-IN-3 inhibits Leishmania major FPPS with an IC₅₀ of 7.75 µM^[1].
FPPS-IN-3 inhibits the expressed E. histolytica PPi-PFK with an IC₅₀ of 40 µM^[1].
