Decamethonium bromide (11.9-1190 μM; 48 h after 24 h of differentiation induction) does not inhibit growth or survival of C2C12 skeletal muscle cells at concentrations up to 1190 μM, but inhibits MHC expression in a concentration-dependent manner during early differentiation, with dramatic effects observed at ≥119 μM^[1].
Decamethonium bromide (11.9-478 μM; 48 h after 7 days of differentiation induction) inhibits MHC expression in a concentration-dependent manner in terminally differentiated C2C12 myotubes, with significant effects observed at ≥47.8 μM^[1].

Decamethonium bromide (478 μM (0.2%); chorio-allantoic membrane administration; on day 6, day 8, day 10) causes complete disruption of skeletal muscle development, severe muscle degeneration, high embryonic mortality (with only ~2% surviving beyond E16), and inhibition of myofibril formation in developing White Leghorn chicken embryos^[1].

Protocol 1

Add each solvent one by one: 10% DMSO 40% PEG300 5% Tween-80 45% Saline

Solubility: ≥ 2.08 mg/mL (4.97 mM); Clear solution

This protocol yields a clear solution of ≥ 2.08 mg/mL (saturation unknown).

Taking 1 mL working solution as an example, add 100 μL DMSO stock solution (20.8 mg/mL) to 400 μL PEG300, and mix evenly; then add 50 μL Tween-80 and mix evenly; then add 450 μL Saline to adjust the volume to 1 mL.

Protocol 2

Add each solvent one by one: 10% DMSO 90% (20% SBE-β-CD in Saline)

Solubility: ≥ 2.08 mg/mL (4.97 mM); Clear solution

This protocol yields a clear solution of ≥ 2.08 mg/mL (saturation unknown).

Taking 1 mL working solution as an example, add 100 μL DMSO stock solution (20.8 mg/mL) to 900 μL 20% SBE-β-CD in Saline, and mix evenly.

Protocol 3

Add each solvent one by one: 10% DMSO 90% Corn Oil

Solubility: ≥ 2.08 mg/mL (4.97 mM); Clear solution
