CTW0419

CTW0419 is a 5-HT_2A receptor positive allosteric modulator (PAMs). CTW0419 allosterically modulates 5-HT2A receptor signaling, enhances the functional response to orthosteric ligands, and enhances serotonin-induced intracellular calcium release. CTW0419 attenuates (-)-DOI-induced head-twitch response. CTW0419 can be used in research related to neuropsychiatric disorders.

In Vitro

CTW0419 acts as a positive allosteric modulator of 5-HT_2A in cells expressing h5-HT_2A, enhancing 5-HT-induced calcium release without intrinsic agonist activity, and shows no activity at h5-HT_2B or h5-HT_2C^[3].
CTW0419 shows minimal binding to off-target CNS receptors in secondary competitive binding assays^[3].
