Nepitrin (Nepetin-7-glucoside) is an orally active bradykinin and angiotensin antagonist isolated from Scrophularia striata. Nepitrin antagonizes the spasmogenic effects of Bradykinin and Angiotensin, thereby inhibiting inflammatory mediator pathways. Nepitrin is applicable to arthritis-related research.
