CP61 acetate
Based on 1 Customer Validation
CP61 acetate is a CtBP1 and CtBP2 inhibitor that binds to dimeric CtBP1 and allosterically inhibits NADH (HY-113355) binding, disrupting the NADH-dependent dimerization of CtBP1 and CtBP2, inducing aberrant mitosis and micronucleus formation, thereby inhibiting cell proliferation and colony formation. CP61 acetate can be used in breast cancer research.

In Vitro
CP61 acetate dose-dependently disrupts the GST-CtBP1/His-CtBP1 complex in the presence of 10 μM NADH[1].
CP61 acetate allosterically and dose-dependently reduces the CtBP1-NADH FRET signal (Trp 285 nm, NADH 425 nm), and the maximal FRET is suppressed under saturating NADH, suggesting that it does not occupy the NADH pocket[1].
CP61 acetate shows no inhibitory effect on other Rossmann fold-containing NAD+/NADH-dependent dehydrogenases at concentrations up to 100 μM[1].
