Description

Cyclo (KLARLLT) is an EGFR ligand with a Kd value of 1.16 μM. Cyclo (KLARLLT) binds to domain I of EGFR and interacts with both the open and closed conformations of EGFR. Cyclo (KLARLLT) is a modified variant of LARLLT (HY-P11078). Cyclo (KLARLLT) can be used in the research of colorectal cancer[1].

In Vitro

Cyclo (KLARLLT) (0-200 μM) binds to the purified extracellular domain of EGFR, with a KD value of 1.16 μM[1].
Cyclo (KLARLLT) binds to domain I of EGFR (including both open and closed conformations), and its low-energy structure is stabilized by hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic interactions[1].
Cyclo (KLARLLT) (2 mg/mL; 0-48 h at 37°C) exhibits significantly improved stability in human serum compared with its linear analog KLARLLT; nearly 60% of the peptide remains intact after incubation at 37°C for 48 h[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
