ERα-IN-2
ERα-IN-2 is a ERα inhibitor. ERα-IN-2 blocks agonist-induced recruitment of nuclear receptor-binding peptides to the ligand-binding domain of ERα and exerts selective antiproliferative effects in breast cancer cells. ERα-IN-2 can be used in breast cancer-related research.

Biological Activity

ERα |
ERα-IN-2 (compound 14b) (treated overnight) inhibits E2-induced recruitment of the SRC1-II peptide to ERα LBD in TR-FRET assays, with an IC50 of 1.58 μM[1].
ERα-IN-2 (0-50 μM; 48 h) inhibits the proliferation of MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells, with IC50 values of 11 μM and 45 μM, respectively; it also exhibits weak antiproliferative activity against non-cancerous HaCaT keratinocytes[1].
