Avanafil activates NO/cGMP/PKG signaling-pathway to decrease loss in BMD, bone atrophy, and oxidative stress. Avanafil inhibits cGMP hydrolysis and thus increases cGMP levels. Avanafil can be used for the research of erectile dysfunction and osteoporosis.
