Oxphaman (ZIMET 47/79) inhibits purified pea lipoxygenase activity with an IC50 of 1.4×10-4 mol/L[1].
Oxphaman (5 minutes prior to protamine sulfate activation) inhibits protamine sulfate-induced degranulation of peritoneal rat mast cells with an IC50 of 3.4×10-5 mol/L[1].
Oxphaman (2.5×10-4-5×10-4 mol/L; 5 minutes prior to Triton X-100 activation) weakly inhibits Triton X-100-induced degranulation of peritoneal rat mast cells, with 26.0% inhibition at 5×10-4 mol/L and 13.9% inhibition at 2.5×10-4 mol/L[1].
