CK-571
CK-571 is an allosteric inhibitor of smooth muscle myosin (Myosin)-2. CK-571 binds the SH1-relay cleft of the motor domain, traps the intermediate conformation of the recovery stroke and stabilizes the ATP-bound state, blocking ATP hydrolysis and F-actin (Actin) binding. CK-571 inhibits actin-activated ATPase activity of non-muscle, cardiac, and skeletal muscle myosin-2. CK-571 can be used in research related to asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

CK-571 (serially diluted in DMSO; final DMSO < 1%) inhibits smooth muscle myosin S1 actin-activated ATPase with an IC50 of 0.086 μM and shows lower potency against CMM, SKM, and NMM-2A[4].
