IMPDH2-IN-2 is an inhibitor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis inosine 5′-monophosphate dehydrogenase 2 (MtbIMPDH2) with a Ki,app value of 14 nM. IMPDH2-IN-2 blocks guanine nucleotide biosynthesis and exhibits antibacterial activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. IMPDH2-IN-2 can be used for research on tuberculosis.

IMPDH2-IN-2 (compound 3) is a potent inhibitor of MtbIMPDH2ΔCBS with a Ki,app of 14 nM[1].
IMPDH2-IN-2 (1 week) exhibits moderate antibacterial activity against Mtb H37Rv, with MIC values of 6.7 μM and 12 μM in GAST/Fe and 7H9/ADC/Tween media, respectively[1].
