In Vitro

Thermopsoside (0.3-30 μM; 48 h) activates PXR but exerts only marginal effects on the mRNA expression of CYP3A4, CYP1A2, CYP2C9, and P-gp in transiently transfected HepG2 cells^[1].
Thermopsoside (100 μM; 10 min pre-incubation, 1 h with calcein-AM) does not inhibit P-glycoprotein activity in hMDR1-MDCK-II cells at 100 μM^[1].
