Description

KT172 is a DAGLβ inhibitor with an IC50 value of 11 nM. KT172 can be used for the research of metabolic and inflammatory[1].

IC50 & Target

IC50: 11 nM (DAGLβ)[1]

In Vitro

KT172 (0-100 μM) has DAGLβ inhibition activity with an IC50 value of 11 nM[1].
KT172 (2 µM) blocks probe-labeling of DAGLβ and ABHD6 activities[1].
KT172 (100 nM, 4 h) blocks DAGLβ activity in situ in the human prostate cancer cell line PC3 with high selectivity[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Western Blot Analysis[1]

Cell Line: Neuro2A cells
Concentration: 25 nM
Incubation Time: 4 h
Result: DAGLβ activity and its inhibition by KT172 were detected only by HT-01 probe.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
