Anti-EphA2 Antibody (1C1) can be used for the research of cancer, such as prostate cancer and glioma.

Anti-EphA2 Antibody (1C1) shows human, mouse, rat, and cynomolgus monkey EphA2 binding affinities of 0.43, 0.92, 0.76 and 0.55 nM[1].
Anti-EphA2 Antibody (1C1) (10 μg/mL; 6 h) induces degradation of EphA2 protein in PC3 human prostate cancer cells and F98 rat glioma cells[1].
Anti-EphA2 Antibody (1C1) (72 h) has no effect on the viability of PC3 human prostate cancer cells[1].

Anti-EphA2 Antibody (1C1) (conjugated with mcMMAF) (2.5-10 mg/kg; i.v.; once weekly) significantly inhibits growth of EphA2-expressing F98 glioma tumors in Fischer 344 rats without observable adverse effects[1].
Anti-EphA2 Antibody (1C1) (conjugated with mcMMAF) (5 mg/kg; i.v.; once weekly) does not inhibit growth of non-EphA2-expressing RG2 glioma tumors in Fischer 344 rats[1].
Anti-EphA2 Antibody (1C1) (conjugated with mcMMAF) (1-5 mg/kg; i.v.; single dose) induces 60% EphA2 degradation in PC3 tumors by 1 hour at 1 mg/kg, while a 5 mg/kg single dose induces >90% EphA2 degradation maintained for 6 days in PC3 prostate tumor-bearing nude mice[1].

Flow Cytometry analysis of HepG2 cells with EphA2 (HY-P990627, red). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 90% methanol. Then cells were stained with the primary antibody at 1/200 dilution for an hour at 4℃. Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L (AF488) (HY-P83776) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at 4℃. Human IgG1 kappa(HY-P99001, blue) was used as the isotype control, cells without incubation with primary antibody were used as the unlabeled control (black). -
Immobilized EphA2 Protein, Human can bind MEDI-547. The EC50 for this effect is 12.25 ng/mL.
