Pep2-SVKE
Pep2-SVKE is an inactive control peptide for pep2-SVKI (HY-P1056). Pep2-SVKE is an inhibitory peptide corresponding to the last 10 amino acids of the C-terminus of the GluR2 AMPA receptor subunit. Pep2-SVKE does not block AMPA-mediated [3H]DA exocytosis. Pep2-SVKE does not bind to GRIP or PICK43 and does not block retention of PICK1 by GST-GluR2 and LTD[1][2][3][4][5].

Pep2-SVKE (100 μM) does not block mGluR-LTD in dopaminergic (DA) neurons[1].
Pep2-SVKE (1 mM) does not bind to PICK or GRIP46, nor does it inhibit the increase in EPSC amplitude ratio (R+40/-60mV) induced by active peptides[2].
Pep2-SVKE (1 mM) does not bind to GRIP or PICK43, nor does it alter mEPSC amplitude and AMPA- and NMDA-induced [3H]ACh release at somatic AMPAR receptors[2][4].
Pep2-SVKE (1 μM) does not alter the dramatic reduction in [3H]DA efflux[3].
Pep2-SVKE does not abolish AMPA receptor sensitivity to cyclothiazide, which controls the release of [3H] nucleoside analogs (NA)[4].
Pep2-SVKE (133 μM) does not block the retention of PICK1 by GST-GluR2 and LTD[5].
