(R)-Liquiritigenin (0.001-100 μM; 10 min pre-incubation, 20 min enzyme-substrate incubation) preferentially inhibits recombinant human MAO-B over MAO-A, with an IC50 of 3.91 μM for MAO-B and 9.97 μM for MAO-A[1].
