Biological Activity
Raddeanoside R22 (compound 8) (72 h) exhibits weakened cytotoxicity against PANC-1, A549, and MDA-MB-231 cells[1].
Raddeanoside R22 (compound 3) (70% MeOH; 4 h) is isolated from Anemone raddeana roots as an amorphous white powder with a molecular formula of C83H136O45, identified via mass spectrometry and NMR spectroscopy[2].
Raddeanoside R22 (5% H2SO4; 8 h) from Anemone raddeana undergoes acid hydrolysis to yield oleanolic acid as the aglycone, with L-rhamnose, D-glucose, and L-arabinose as the sugar components with confirmed absolute configurations[2].
Raddeanoside R22 (6 M NH4OH; 5 h) from Anemone raddeana undergoes alkaline saponification to yield prosapogenin 3a with an 85.7% yield, identified via NMR and TLC[2].
Raddeanoside R22 (compound 1) (8 mg; 4 h) undergoes acid hydrolysis to produce oleanolic acid, D-glucose, and L-arabinose[3].
Raddeanoside R22 is structurally identified as oleanolic acid 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→2)[β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→4)]-α-L-arabinopyranoside, a novel triterpenoid saponin[3].
Raddeanoside R22 is isolated in pure form from Anemone raddeana rhizomes via solvent extraction, silica gel and Rp C-18 column chromatography, and preparative HPLC[3].
