Sitostanetriol (Sitostane-3β,5α,6β-triol) (compound 11) exhibits ED50 values >50 μg/mL in in vitro cytotoxicity evaluations against P-388, A549, and HT-29 cancer cell lines, failing to meet the significant cytotoxicity criterion defined in that study; the study defines significant activity as ED50 ≤ 4.0 μg/mL for pure compounds[1].
