Tubulin-IN-65 (Compound Imp-18) is a Tubulin inhibitor. Tubulin-IN-65 exhibits tubulin-disrupting activity. Tubulin-IN-65 disrupts microtubule integrity. Tubulin-IN-65 induces Apoptosis and increases the expression of CDK1 and Cyclin B1. Tubulin-IN-65 possesses anticancer activity against breast cancer and colorectal cancer. Tubulin-IN-65 can be used in research related to triple-negative breast cancer and colorectal adenocarcinoma.

Tubulin-IN-65 (0.1-80 μM; 72 h) potently inhibits the viability of MDA-MB-231 and DLD-1 cancer cells, with IC50 values of 0.22 μM and 0.84 μM against the two cell lines, respectively. Meanwhile, this compound exhibits cancer cell specificity, with a selectivity index of 4.1 relative to the non-tumorigenic MCF-10A cells[1].
Tubulin-IN-65 (48 h) effectively induces apoptosis in MDA-MB-231 and DLD-1 cancer cells[1].
Tubulin-IN-65 (48 h) disrupts cell cycle progression in MDA-MB-231 and DLD-1 cancer cells, induces accumulation of apoptotic cells in the Sub-G1 phase, causes G1/G0 phase arrest and alters G2/M phase distribution, with no effect on the S phase[1].
