EphB2
EphB2 is the largest and most widely expressed EphB receptor and a key organizer of tissue compartmentalization. In the intestine, bidirectional EphB2-ephrin-B signaling along the crypt-villus axis maintains proliferative and differentiated zones, and in the nervous system it controls synapse formation, dendritic spine maturation and learning-related plasticity. In colorectal cancer, EphB2 behaves paradoxically: it acts as a tumor suppressor at early adenoma stages by restricting cell mixing, while higher expression at invasive stages associates with metastasis and poor outcome. EphB2 is also expressed on arteries and in prostate tissue. Recombinant EphB2 is a standard reagent for these epithelial, neural and oncological studies.

The EpCAM/TROP1 protein serves as an important homogeneous interacting molecule that promotes direct contact between intestinal epithelial cells (IEC) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) in the mucosal epithelium. This feature helps establish an immune barrier against mucosal infections. EpCAM/TROP1 Protein, Human (His-SUMO) is the recombinant human-derived EpCAM/TROP1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His, N-SUMO labeled tag.
