(-)-UH 232
(-)-UH 232 is a central dopamine (DA) receptor agonist. (-)-UH 232 weakly decreases 3, 4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) formation in striatal and limbic brain regions in rats. (-)-UH 232 can be used for the research of neurological diseases including parkinson's disease and schizophrenia.

Biological Activity
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
-
Animal Model:Sprague-Dawley rats (male, 200-300 g)[1]
-
Dosage:0.8, 3.2, 13, 52, 204 μmol/kg
-
Administration:s.c.; single dose
-
Result:Failed to significantly influence locomotor activity in non-pretreated rats at doses up to 52 μmol/kg.
Did not antagonize Reserpine (HY-N0480)-induced hypomotility at 204 μmol/kg.
Produced a weak trend towards reduced cortical DOPA formation, with a significant 15% decrease only at 52 μmol/kg in non-pretreated rats.
Dose-dependently decreased DOPA formation in limbic and striatal regions of reserpinized rats.
