Vitexin arginine has a wide range of pharmacological effects, including anti-oxidant, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-hyperalgesic, and neuroprotective effects[1][2].

In Vivo

Vitexin exerts neuroprotective effect against pentylenetetrazole-induced seizures, scopolamine-induced memory impairment, and glutamate-induced neuronal excitotoxicity[1].
