Adenosylhomocysteinase
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Adenosylhomocysteinase (SAHH; AHCY) is a highly conserved enzyme. Adenosylhomocysteinase reversible catalyzes S-adenosylhomocysteine (SAH) to adenosine and L-homocysteine. The serum exosomal Adenosylhomocysteinase level can be used as a prognostic biomarker in HBV-LC patients.

Product Information This product is obtained by microbial recombination, with a molecular weight of 44 kda, and is stable in the pH range of 6.0-8.0. Instructions 1. Reconstitution: It can be reconstituted with pure water containing 20% glycerol, and can be stored at 4°C for about one year; after being divided into portions according to the dosage, it can be frozen at -20°C, which can be stored for a longer time, and try to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. 2. The recommended dosage in the dual-reagent Hcy cycle enzyme detection kit R2: 8-10 KU/L.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

≥140 U/mg protein
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that the catalytic reaction decreases the absorbance of NADH at 340 nm by 0.01 per minute under specific conditions at pH 8.3 and 37°C.
