Description

Anticancer agent 316 (Compound 1) is an anticancer agent. Anticancer agent 316 exerts anticancer activity against colorectal cancers expressing GPR120. Anticancer agent 316 can be used in the research of colorectal cancer[1].

IC50 & Target[1]

GPR120

In Vitro

Anticancer agent 316 (0.39-100 µM; 24-72 h) potently inhibits the growth of colorectal cancer cell line SW480, with a 24-hour IC50 of 23.21-26.69 µM[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Cell Cytotoxicity Assay[1]

Cell Line: SW480 human colorectal cancer (CRC) cells expressing GPR120
Concentration: 1 µM (72 h); 10 µM (72 h); 100 µM (72 h); 0.39-100 µM (24 h, 48 h, 72 h)
Incubation Time: 24 h; 48 h; 72 h
Result: Showed ~90% inhibitory effects on SW480 cell growth at 100 µM for 72 hours.
Exhibited an IC50 of 23.21-26.69 µM after 24-hour treatment.
Increased IC50 to ~50-60 µM after 48 hours.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
