Antimalarial agent 56 (WR319535) inhibits the growth of Plasmodium falciparum strains W2, D6, C235, and C2A with IC₉₀ values ranging from 75 to 275 ng/mL, and has a macrophage cytotoxicity LC₅₀ of 4110 ng/mL^[1].
