APGW-amide
APGW-amide is a neuropeptide. APGW-amide controls the growth of imposex structures and promotes growth in Haliotis asinina. APGW-amide inhibits Achatina neurons and modulates neuronal currents induced by neuroactive compounds. APGW-amide induces a rapid increase in [Ca2+]i in Fura-2/AM-loaded PC12 cells. APGW-amide is useful for research on the nervous system.

Biological Activity
APGW-amide (3 μM) increases the membrane conductance (g) value measured before the Iout caused by erythro-l-BHGA, with ED50, slope, Hill coefficient and Emax were 76.9 msec, 0.89274, 1.59453, and 5.54 nA, respectively[1].
APGW-amide (3 μM) inhibits the Iout, with ED50, slope, Hill coefficient and Emax were 29.5 msec, 1.02386, 1.9761, and 0.38 nA, respectively, increases the g value measured before the Iout induced by Dopamine (HY-B0451)[1].
APGW-amide (3 μM) inhibits the fast component of the Iin caused by Serotonin (HY-B1473A), with ED50, slope, Hill coefficient and Emax were 18.5 msec, 0.8268, 1.6557, and 0.72 nA, respectively[1].
APGW-amide (30 μM) causes a rapid rise of [Ca2+]i in Fura-2/AM-loaded PC12 cells[2].
