In Vitro

Mycro1 (10 or 20 μM, 7 days) can inhibit the proliferation of C-Myc-dependent cell lines U-2OS, MCF-7, Raji and NIH/3T3, but does not inhibit the proliferation of C-Myc-independent cancer cell line PC-12. Mycro1 significantly inhibits c-myc-induced gene transcription at 10 μM and selectively reduces unanchored growth of c-myc-transformed Rat1a cells at 20 μM^[1].
