Ethylnotopterol is a coumarin found in the roots and rhizomes of Notopterygium incisum and an inhibitor with an IC50 value of 18.1 μM for LPS-induced nitric oxide production. Ethylnotopterol blocks LPS-induced nitric oxide production in macrophage cells.
