Pseudobaptigenin is a natural isoflavone polyphenolic compound. Pseudobaptigenin is generated through the CYP76F319-catalyzed conversion of Calycosin (HY-N0519) and can serve as a precursor for phytoalexin synthesis. Pseudobaptigenin is predicted to have potential as an inhibitor of ER, PR, and HER2. Pseudobaptigenin can be used in research on breast cancer and metabolism-related diseases.

Pseudobaptigenin (molecular docking) can bind to estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2); its molecular docking binding free energies ΔG are -6.49 kCal/mole, -6.87 kCal/mole, and -5.84 kCal/mole, respectively, and the corresponding MM‑GBSA binding free energies are -44.10 kCal/mol, -42.37 0.39 kCal/mol, and -32.71 kCal/mol[2].
