(R)-D2PM is a dopamine transporter inhibitor. (R)-D2PM is an isomer of D2PM. (R)-D2PM increases dopamine concentration in the synaptic cleft by inhibiting dopamine reuptake, producing central sympathomimetic effects. (R)-D2PM can be used in studies of acute D2PM toxicity and cardiovascular toxicity.
