Isonicotinamide-d₄ is the deuterated-labeled Isonicotinamide (HY-W012843). Isonicotinamide is a structural isomer of Nicotinamide (HY-B0150). Isonicotinamide promotes the activity of the NAD⁺-dependent deacetylase Sir2 in yeast and affects NAD⁺ homeostasis and nucleotide salvage synthesis pathways. Isonicotinamide can also serve as an intermediate for the synthesis of active drugs.
