HN-1
HN-1 is a tumor-specific internalizing peptide. HN-1 internalizes through receptor-mediated, energy-dependent, Clathrin-mediated endocytosis. HN-1 preferentially binds to invasive head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and is selectively internalized. HN-1 enhances the transfer of liposome-DNA complexes to head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. HN-1 can be used for research on head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
HN-1 is internalized by attached HNSCC cell lines such as MDA177Tu, UMSCC1, SCC-25, CAL-27, and FaDu, but not by suspended HNSCC cells or normal HOK16B/NOE/NHDF cells, via energy-dependent clathrin-mediated endocytosis and endosomal localization[2].
HN-1 (>500 μM) blocks FITC-labeled HN-1 internal fluorescence in HNSCC cells, supporting specific HN-1-mediated uptake rather than free-dye labeling[3].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only. .
