(E)-Methyl isoferulate (Compound 8) (3.125-100 μM; 24 h) weakly inhibits LPS-induced nitric oxide production in RAW 264.7 cells, with an IC₅₀ greater than 100 μM, and shows no cytotoxicity to these cells at 100 μM^[1].
(E)-Methyl isoferulate (72 h) displays weak cytotoxicity against HepG2 and K562 cells, with an IC₅₀ greater than 200 μM^[1].
