Thioredoxin reductase
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Thioredoxin reductase (TrxR) is a selenocysteine-containing NADPH-dependent disulfide oxidoreductase derived from rat liver that utilizes NADPH to reduce oxidized thioredoxin. Thioredoxin reductase can utilize the reducing capacity of human erythrocytes to study the uptake and reduction of α-Lipoic Acid (HY-N0492), and can also be used to investigate the activation mechanism of transglutaminase 2 (TG2) in the extracellular matrix using thioredoxin.

Biological Activity
제품 설명
In Vitro
Thioredoxin reductase (TrxR) is rapidly inactivated in serum by NADPH or NADPH-regenerating systems, and in the serum of H22 hepatoma-bearing mice, endogenous electrophilic compounds PpIX and 4-HNE are increased[1].
Thioredoxin reductase (from rat liver) can utilize the reducing capacity of human erythrocytes to study the uptake and reduction of α-lipoic acid[2].
Thioredoxin reductase (from rat liver) is used to study the activation mechanism of transglutaminase 2 (TG2) in the extracellular matrix using thioredoxin[3].
