1. GPCR/G Protein
  2. GLP Receptor
  3. (R)-V-0219

(R)-V-0219 is an enantiomer of V-0219 (HY-143312). V-0219 is an orally active and positive allosteric modulator (PAM) of the GLP Receptor-1 (GLP-1R). (R)-V-0219 activates calcium fluxes in HEK cells stably expressing hGLP-1R.

At equivalent molar concentrations, both the salt and free forms of a compound exhibit comparable biological activity. Nevertheless, the salt form ((R)-V-0219 hydrochloride) usually boasts enhanced water solubility and stability.

Description

(R)-V-0219 is an enantiomer of V-0219 (HY-143312). V-0219 is an orally active and positive allosteric modulator (PAM) of the GLP Receptor-1 (GLP-1R). (R)-V-0219 activates calcium fluxes in HEK cells stably expressing hGLP-1R[1].

In Vitro

(R)-V-0219 (0.1 nM) is capable to activate calcium fluxes in HEK cells stably expressing hGLP-1R, and induces the receptor activation stimulated by GLP-1 with an E50 value of 10 nM[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
