Surbinsertib (SGR-3515) is an orally active dual inhibitor of the Wee1 and Myt1 kinases. Surbinsertib is used in cancer research^[1]^[2].

All Wee1 Isoforms :

PKMYT1

In Vitro

Both Wee1 and Myt1 are CDK-inhibitory kinases. Wee1 primarily phosphorylates CDK1‑Tyr15, while Myt1 phosphorylates both CDK1‑Tyr15 and Thr14. The two kinases act synergistically to inhibit CDK1 activity and regulate the G2/M cell cycle transition.
