TIS108
Based on 1 Customer Validation
TIS108 is a triazole-type strigolactone biosynthesis inhibitor. TIS108 inhibits Arabidopsis embryogenesis and root hair growth, and promotes shoot branching. TIS108 can also increase the gibberellin content in Gastrodia elata. TIS108 can be used in the research of plant growth and development as well as plant responses to the environment.

Biological Activity
TIS108 (0-1.6 μM; 0-14 days) can inhibit the number of somatic embryos formed in Arabidopsis explants, partially reverse the up-regulating effect of GR24 (HY-129038) on the expression of ARF5, ARF8, ARF10, and ARF16 genes, and simultaneously affect the expression of WUS and SERK1 genes[1].
TIS108 (1-3 μM) can increase the number of shoot branches, inhibit root hair elongation, and promote the expression of MAX3 and MAX4 in wild-type Arabidopsis[2].
TIS108 (10 μM; 14 days) can significantly increase the gibberellin content and reduce the level of GeCYP714A1 in Gastrodia elata tubers[3].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
